How to upload repair data for multiple devices

In the Digital Service Manager, you can create service log entries for each customer device—either individually or via CSV upload. This allows you to centrally document repairs, errors, and maintenance.

Solution steps

  1. Device overview and details • Click on “Devices” to see all assigned customer devices. • Select a device to view details such as serial number, status, internet connection, customer, and group.
  2. Create a single service log entry • Switch to the “Service log” tab. • Click on “+ Create”. • Fill in the fields: – Date of service call – Error description – Important notes – Costs – Select the correct spare part from the list • Click “NEXT” to save the entry.
  3. Create multiple service log entries via CSV upload • In the “Service log” tab, click on “CSV upload”. • Prepare a CSV file with the required columns (e.g., device ID, error description, notes, costs, spare part). • Upload the file. • Review the preview and check for possible errors.• Guidelines for the correct CSV format can be found under “Guidelines for CSV files”.
