How to create a group

This article explains step by step how to create a new group in the ConnectedCooking portal. Groups help you organize sites and units within your company structure.

Creating a group in ConnectedCooking

  1. Open the Group Tree
    • Log in to the ConnectedCooking portal.
    • Click on appDrawerAdministrationbreadcrumb dividerGroup Treein the right upper corner .
    • You will see an overview of all existing groups.
  2. Add a new group
    • Click "Add a group".
  3. Enter group details
    • Group name: Enter a clear and unique name for the group.
    • Parent group: Select an existing group as the parent.
    • Group type: Choose from the following types:
      • Country
      • Region
      • City
      • Branch
      • Group
      • Headquarters
  4. Save the group
    • Click "Save changes" to create the group.

The new group will now appear in the group tree.
